Glenn Carr  

Glenn Carr
Clarinet, Saxophone

Born and raised in Wenatchee, Glenn Carr has taught, played and conducted music in the Wenatchee Valley for over 37 years, 30 years of that as band director at Eastmont Junior High School. He attended Central Washington University and received a Bachelors degree in instrumental music education. His Masters degree was in Music Composition and Theory, having studied with Bob Panerio, Paul Creston and Raymond Wheeler. Glen also taught English and is fluent in Spanish, having spent 4 years in 8-week-long sessions in Mexico learning the language.

Currently, Glenn teaches private lessons at the Woods House Conservatory, works part-time for the music program at Vale Elementary and Cashmere Middle School in Cashmere, plays polka music with Bob Otto's Polka and is a member of Musikkapelle, both in Leavenworth.
